DETECTION AND DEFINITION
Sediments in water
Sediments in water encompass a range of visible particles, including sand, silt, and rust. These particles are often noticeable to the naked eye and may appear as suspended solids or settle at the bottom of containers. Detection can also be facilitated through the use of sediment filters, which physically trap and remove sedimentary particles from the water. Additionally, laboratory analysis can provide detailed information about the composition and concentration of sediments present in a water sample.
